The apostle Paul is confident: God, who began a good work in us as we were brought to faith in Christ, will carry on this good work in shaping us uniquely into Christ’s image, so that upon Christ’s return, we will be radiant examples of God’s new creation.

Each day has the potential to shape in us Christ’s character. Trials and challenges, perseverance and endurance, daily disciplines, spiritual reading, and Bible classes—all of these are tools in the hand of God to shape us. How are you being shaped? How are you participating actively in this shaping—making choices and investments of your energy and time which contribute to this process?
